Our Cats Likes and dislikes
Likes-
warmth, the aga, sleeping, beds
being made, bed with someone in it, laps, warm soil, long grass, other gardens
to toilet in, woollen clothing to kneed, fibrous material to scratch, best
chair to scratch, understanding people as slaves or as mother cat, filched
water and food, water from the tap, finding things for themselves, the sound of
their own voices, anything new- especially boxes, chasing their own tail,
letting down their owners in from of visitors, hunting when can be bothered-
birds, mice, rats, bats, birds eggs, milk from the cereal bowl, cat-mint, the in
place, marmite off the finger, the tuna tin being opened, the tuna juice, the
tuna tin, washing after eating tuna, or pate, washing their private parts in
public, peace and quiet, sitting up high, annoying other cats in the house,
human slaves, doors being opened for them, mad 5 minutes running around the
house, up the tree, swearing at birds.
Dislikes- the vacuum cleaner, citrus especially oranges being
peeled, rain, young children, fireworks, the cold, sudden noises, cagoules,
other cats, animals, poultry, high pitched noises, whistling, music generally,
vets, travelling, taking medicine, flanks being combed, making themselves
useful, being kept in, being kept out, work.
